  • Citroën unveils the first images of the all-new C3 Aircross, which will soon be available for sale in Europe.
  • The new C3 Aircross undergoes a radical change and enters a new scope with the ambition to strengthen its position in a very competitive territory.
  • Its exterior design reveals a tougher yet stylish SUV. New attitude makes it more assertive, muscular, and robust.
  • With 4.39 meters length, the C3 Aircross grows to offer more space onboard and up to 7 seats, a first in the segment, while remaining compact, practical and agile.
  • In addition to ICE offer, C3 Aircross will propose a hybrid engine particularly suitable for this silhouette, as well as an all-electric offer.
  • The C3 Aircross marks the continuation of Citroën’s offensive in the B segment and shares with the C3 the same design language. the same philosophy of offering a unique onboard comfort experience and all the features expected by customers.

Citroën unveiled the first images of all-new C3 Aircross, which shares with the C3 hatchback the same design identity, promise of space and onboard comfort, as well as the ambition to shake up the market with a very competitive pricing positioning. Both models are based on the same Smart Car platform allowing powertrain flexibility and cost efficiency.

All New C3 Aircross undergoes a radical change and enters a new scope by adopting a more assertive character, more interior space with up to 7 seats, an expanded range of engine options, and the same level of onboard comfort. Combined with a highly competitive pricing positioning, this more mature and muscular version is completely in line with market expectations.

A modern and coherent design. All-new C3 Aircross incorporates Citroën’s new style language elements, of which the Oli concept was the manifesto and the C3 the first realization. Its design thus integrates the new Brand identity signature and an assertive formal language. Its highly verticalized front end proudly displays the new Citroën logo and adopts the characteristic lighting signature in 3 luminous segments. Very modern, its style also highlights quality and attention to detail by incorporating the chevron pattern on certain elements. In addition to these graphics, Citroën plays with the perception of its silhouette and customization by breaking the vertical reading of the model through a two-tone roof offering and enlivening C3 Aircross with punctual color accents, the color clips, present at the level of the bumper and the quarter panel, which the customer can change as they wish.

A SUV that reinforces its character. All-new C3 Aircross undergoes a radical change in attitude, transitioning from a model emphasizing roundness and kindness to one that, without being aggressive, exudes a more angular, muscular, and assertive style. Powerful and suggesting robustness, C3 Aircross embraces its SUV typology with a high and horizontal hood, widened wings and tracks, solid shoulders benefiting from protection that crown large wheels with a diameter of 690mm. Each style line adds tension and energy to a model that now exudes great confidence. Its silhouette is very balanced and expresses strength.

Compact SUV offering up to 7 seats. all-new C3 Aircross changes dimension to reach a length of 4.39 meters, providing greater interior space. The balanced proportions of its silhouette hint at a very long wheelbase, the largest in its category. This allows for more legroom for rear passengers. Another element made possible by the size of C3 Aircross and revealed by its style: the design of the quarter panel provides a dynamic and vertical rear end, ensuring good habitability for occupants in the third row. This is a major innovation in the segment, offering the ability to comfortably accommodate up to 7 people onboard with two foldable seats in the trunk. C3 Aircross is full of tricks to make family life easier by offering great usage flexibility. However, C3 Aircross remains very compact for easy manoeuvring and stress-free parking. Rational, versatile, and reassuring, C3 Aircross is an easy-to-live-with SUV.

An affordable multi-energy offer. This new B SUV shares the Smart Car platform with the C3 hatchback, introduced by Citroën and designed from the start to optimally accommodate an electric offer. Thus, the C3 Aircross is perfectly in line with the challenges of energy transition by offering for the first time alongside a traditional thermal offer a hybridization option that facilitates access to electrification, whose versatility is perfectly adapted for this type of silhouette. And to go further, affordable all-electric powertrain produced in Europe will also be available.

Serene onboard experience. The SUV silhouette of the C3 Aircross promises a raised ground clearance, more reassuring in driving, facilitating onboard access and favoring a high driving position that allows for better visibility. These elements contribute to the feeling of well-being on board, another signature of the C3 Aircross. Like the C3 sedan, the new C3 Aircross will highlight comfort and will have all the equipment and technologies expected by customers in this market.

A change in scope. Set to be launched by summer, all-new C3 Aircross offers a new vision of the compact European SUV in a major market. Since 2020, B-SUV sales have overpassed those of B-segment hatchbacks in Europe. Sales exceed 2 million registrations each year in an increasingly competitive market. Citroën entered this market segment in 2008 with the Citroën C3 Picasso. The B SUV category didn’t really exist then, but Citroën already offered a vehicle with a raised driving position and interior space for a functional vehicle with the unique character of a “magic box.” The Aircross designation appeared in 2017 with the C3 Aircross, which maintained benchmark practicality while adding the codes of an adventurer. In mid-2024, Citroën will unveil the new C3 Aircross, which has been completely reinvented to meet the expectations of families. It has a completely new dimension with powerful, assertive styling, more space on board and modularity with the capacity to accommodate up to 7 people, electrified offerings from hybrid to 100% electric, and comfort and connectivity on board.
