In a thrilling showcase of performance, innovation, and unforgettable experiences, LDV South Africa recently hosted a group of influential content creators on a three-day immersive Ride & Drive adventure to Sabie Kruger. Why? To introduce influencers to the bold and capable LDV T60 range — and to give them a trip they’d never forget.

Departing from LDV’s head office, the influencers embarked on a scenic journey to Mbombela, with multiple stops along the way to capture content. Along the route, the influencers explored the landmarks of Sudwala Caves before heading to Laeveld Radio Station to experience the beginning of an exciting partnership between LDV and the station, which included a symbolic vehicle handover. Upon arrival at the luxurious Kruger Maroela Lodge & Spa, the group had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the LDV T60 bakkies and experience firsthand the comfort, power, and cutting-edge technology of the brand’s flagship range.

“The trip to Kruger National Park was a fantastic experience I will never forget. We had so much fun driving the LDV bakkies. I am not a car fanatic, so I wouldn’t tell you anything about the specs; however, I enjoyed the drive as it was smooth, the bakkies had power, and I felt safe in the bakkies. The car’s technology is impressive too!” said Donald Nkomo, one of the invited influencers.

Another content creator, Dominic Zaca, added with enthusiasm: “Why are we all not in an LDV! This car is not only aesthetically pleasing but drives really well. I felt my rich aunty vibes from the time we departed until we returned. The seats hugged me better than my boyfriend and I appreciate that as a big girl! Absolutely amazing!”

From Italian-themed dinners to morning bush walks, massages, and a spectacular sunset safari and bush braai experience within the Kruger, the trip provided not just a test drive — but a full sensory journey into what LDV represents: adventure, quality, and comfort.

Anna Potgieter shared: “The LDV T60 Bakkie powered us through Kruger National Park’s off-road trails, offering rugged fun and stunning views. Maroela Lodge and Spa was a haven of comfort and luxury, with exceptional hospitality and curated adventures like the Sudwala Caves visit and a thrilling night drive in Kruger—a perfect mix of excitement and serenity”

Jaco De Bruyn co-founder of Dad Bod Challenge expressed: “My experience with the LDV bakkie has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I got behind the wheel, it was clear that this vehicle isn’t just meeting expectations, it’s redefining them. LDV delivers on every promise: a rugged 4×4 capability paired with modern design, premium features, and unmatched value. What truly sets it apart is how it combines toughness and sophistication without compromise, all at a price point that makes premium utility accessible. In South Africa’s competitive bakkie market, LDV isn’t just entering the game, they’re changing it. A game changer for drivers who refuse to settle.”

Speaking on the initiative, Neil Barker, Chief Marketing Officer of LDV South Africa, said: “This experience was designed to do more than just showcase a product — it was about immersing people in the lifestyle that comes with owning an LDV. The T60 range delivers power, reliability, and refinement. What better way to demonstrate that than through an unforgettable road trip that reflects the everyday journeys and aspirations of South African drivers.”

The event wrapped up with a group photo, content creation sessions, and a scenic drive back to Johannesburg — leaving behind lasting memories and a new appreciation for LDV’s bold move into the South African market.
