Once again this year, Alfa Romeo has won over Swiss hearts in the 30th “Best Cars Awards,” a prestigious competition voted on by readers from a shortlist of 455 models divided into 13 categories.
The readers of Auto Illustrierte, the biggest automotive magazine in Switzerland, had no doubts in bestowing several coveted awards on Alfa Romeo, to confirm how deeply rooted the passion is between the brand and the Swiss community, which sees itself in the values represented by the Italian premium automaker.
Alfa Romeo has an extraordinary line of successes behind it: indeed, the Giulia has taken first place among “medium-sized sedans” for the seventh time in a row. Not to mention the Stelvio, with its sixth triumph as a “Large SUV/Off-Road,” nor the Tonale and the second time it has beaten its “Compact SUV/Off-Road” competitors. After all, since their launch on the Swiss market, the Giulia, Stelvio and Tonale models have taken first place in their respective categories on a yearly basis.
To add to the resounding victory of a premium automaker that is growing more than any other year after year, it has won three other titles at the “Best Cars Awards”: first place in the “Appearance/Styling” category, and podium placings in the “Advertising” category and for the brand’s “Popularity.”
