Within hours of SAES announcing Vodacom 4U as the South African Endurance Championship’s headline sponsor, the printers at Adapt Signs.co.za were fired up to create the new branding ahead of the second round in Gqeberha on 5th April.
Adapt Signs.co.za has been appointed as SAES’ official branding partner, meeting all the requirements for quality and speed of delivery, enhancing one of South Africa’s premier circuit racing series.
SAES CEO Wayne Riddell announced: “Having worked with Mark as a competitor over the past three years has led to a great relationship being built and when the branding position became vacant, he was the natural fit for our brand. I did not have to explain our series to Mark, nor did I have to justify the value proposition to him. It was a simple and natural fit for both of us”.

“Branding is the icing on the partnership cake that is a critical ingredient to creating a solid return on investment to our partners and Adapt Signs.co.za are the best placed partner to ensure we achieve these goals annually for all of our partners,” concluded Riddell.
CEO Mark Harvey, a passionate competitor in the SA Endurance National Championship, is excited at the prospect of growing his business through the networking opportunities that motorsport offers.
Harvey explains: “Motorsport has driven the growth of my business through the networking opportunities that the wider motorsport landscape offers; it is not just businesspeople who compete, but their sponsors and even spectators who come to visit the pits for a chat. Around 70% of my business comes from this source.”
Founded in 1996 as an advertising agency, Adapt Signs.co.za became an exclusively design and signage company in 2016, offering clients the full spectrum of branding needs. From custom printed wallpaper for corporate clients’ offices, to vehicle branding and wrapping to exterior signage, the company offers a full spectrum of commercial services.
The company also offers a full in-house design service for clients who need guidance on how best to achieve their desired result.

One of his clients, a fellow competitor, is the owner of a multi-brand motor dealership, who uses Adapt Signs.co.za to complete the popular two-tone paint look that so many motorists want.
One of the company’s specialties is ‘chrome delete’, where vehicles that are manufactured with an excess of chrome trim as standard are wrapped to tone down what may be viewed as garish.
Vehicle wrapping comes in any colour. “If it’s available, and a client wants it, we will source it. My own vehicle, for example, has just been wrapped in Wasabi Green which has created quite a stir on the road and led to a number of enquiries”, Harvey explained.
The partnership with SAES has already borne fruit, with new windscreen and door decals and banner walls in production under a tight deadline, ahead of the next round.
The next SAES project for Adapt Signs.co.za is to produce two kilometers of fence runners, banners that line a race circuit in time for the third round at Killarney in Cape Town.
Outside of the motor industry, Harvey is pleased with his association with major corporate retail property owners who use Adapt Signs.co.za to produce eye-catching window store fronts which mask empty stores.
“We have produced over two square kilometers of vinyl store fronts for our major retail property owners”, he says proudly.
Mark Harvey can be seen in action in the Five-Hours of Aldo Scribante this weekend, where he competes in the V8 Roadster National Championship in a Backdraft Roadster with fellow drivers Phillip Meyer and Dean Wolson.
