Step into the heart of automotive excellence at the Festival of Motoring, where we Celebrate Car Culture in full force! Returning to the legendary Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from 30 August to 1 September, this year’s festival is set to ignite your passion for all things automotive.

Get ready for a high-octane showcase featuring the latest and favourites in passenger brands, supercars, and high-performance rides, all within a dynamic and controlled environment. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or just starting your journey into the world of motoring, there’s something unforgettable waiting for you.

Experience the power and precision of renowned automotive brands participating in the event: Abarth, Alfa Romeo, BAIC, Chery, Citroen, Fiat, Haval, Isuzu, Jeep, Omoda, Opel, Porsche, Peugeot, Shelby, Subaru, Suzuki, Volkswagen and more.

For visitors craving an extra dose of adrenaline, supercar, motorsport and drifting experiences are offered by accredited providers i.e. BMW Motorsport Club hotlaps, the Simola Hill Climb sessions, Supercar hotlaps by RaceDayEvents, the Samlin Lamborghini Experience, and Shelby Mustang SA. Special rates only available at the Festival of Motoring and a few one-of-its-kind experiences in Johannesburg. Be the first to secure your spot for these thrilling rides—hot lap sessions go on sale from 2 May 2024.

Michael Dehn, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt South Africa, the event organizer, shares his excitement, stating, “This year’s event will bring together automotive enthusiasts to experience the ultimate rush of motoring excellence, uniting the automotive community to celebrate together the achievements of the year. With WesBank as our esteemed naming rights partner, expect nothing short of automotive excellence on show.”

“As a leading provider of innovative vehicle and asset finance solutions in South Africa, WesBank is proud to, once again, be the brand that powers the Festival of Motoring, a hallmark event that has solidified its status in the local automotive sector,” says WesBank CEO Ghana Msibi. “The event’s prestige can be seen in its growing appeal, which transcends traditional age and gender divides, allowing participating brands to engage current and prospective clients in an interactive environment unmatched by any other motoring event in the country. As the Festival gears up for its anticipated 2024 edition, eight years since its debut in 2016, we believe it will live up to all expectations by presenting the best offerings in the mobility space.”

Witness Formula One type vehicles tearing up the track, the Sunbet ZX10 Masters Cup Superbikes competitors whizzing through, and thrilling speed attacks in our unique Festival of Motoring, Shelby Speed Challenge.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Immerse yourself in complimentary experiences on the main circuit, self-handling track, and 4×4 course. Take on Subaru’s obstacle course on the skidpan of Kyalami, featuring models like the Forester and Outback, all available for the festival attendee at no cost. In addition notable brands Dunlop and Castrol have created special interactive areas for visitors.

Niels Wichmann, Passenger Cars, Brand Director for Volkswagen Group Africa, enthusiastically extends a special invitation to their valued customers to visit the Volkswagen stands located at the main pits and the 4×4 village. Neils affirms “Volkswagen will showcase its full range of new models for 2024, including the formidable 4X4 Volkswagen Amarok, offering attendees the exclusive opportunity to test drive these exceptional vehicles on the track. Join us for a day of innovation, excitement, and automotive excellence.”

Don’t miss your chance to be part of this experiential motoring event of the year. Mark your calendars and join us at the Festival of Motoring 2024 for an experience like no other!

Tickets can be purchased at www.howler.co.za starting from 11 April 2024, with general access priced at R275 per adult and R75 for children aged 4 to 12 years. Complimentary convenient shuttle service offered by SANI Car Rental, from the Mall of Africa. Internal shuttle service provided to the 4×4 village by esteemed partners Volkswagen, Isuzu and Haval.
