Chery South Africa has expanded its flagship Tiggo 8 lineup by introducing the new Tiggo 8 Pro Executive Plus(+), available at an exclusive launch price of R499,900 for a limited time (standard retail price R529,900).
This value-packed trim is designed to make Tiggo 8 ownership more accessible. It offers an attractive price without sacrificing the luxury, safety, or technology Chery is known for in South Africa.
From a styling perspective, the Pro Executive + impresses with an eye-catching design that resembles the range-topping Pro Max derivative without a higher price tag. Stylish 18-inch wheels pair beautifully with the styling.
The Executive + is distinguished by a classy diamond-effect radiator grille, highlighted by an illuminated Chery logo, adding an upmarket presence to the front fascia. Standard features include LED head and taillights, roof rails, privacy glass, and a panoramic sunroof, among other luxuries.

At launch, customers will be able to specify the Tiggo 8 Pro Executive Plus in Khaki White and Carbon Crystal Black, but the following paint colours are available to order:

This model is powered by Chery’s turbocharged 1.6-litre 290T engine, which delivers strong outputs of 145 kW and 290 N.m of torque, channelled to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Despite its powerful engine and generously sized exterior, the Executive Plus returns 7.3L/100 km, as measured during manufacturer testing cycles
Drivers can tailor their experience with three driving modes—Standard, Eco, and Sport—and two Dynamic Adjustable Steering modes, Eco and Sport, for a personalised feel behind the wheel. The towing capacity is rated at 750 kg (braked) and 1500 kg (unbraked).
The front and rear axles have MacPherson strut and multi-link suspension setups, respectively, delivering a smooth and balanced ride. All-around disc brakes handle stopping power, with ventilated discs on the front axle for increased performance.
Inside, the Executive + offers all the comforts of a luxury vehicle, even though it’s the entry point to the Tiggo 8 Pro lineup. The cabin features black leather upholstery across three seating rows, accommodating seven passengers. The driver and front passenger seats boast electric adjustment, heating, and a memory function for the driver, adding to the overall experience.

The Executive + is packed with tech to keep everyone entertained. A 10.25-inch floating touchscreen offers access to the media systems, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Audio is delivered through an eight-speaker Sony Sound System, providing a high-quality listening experience.
An intuitive Intelligent Voice Control system allows drivers to adjust vehicle settings hands-free, including the sunroof, air conditioning, and more. A 12.3-inch digital driver’s display is also part of the package, relaying relevant information to the driver via a crisp display. For added convenience, there are three USB ports—two in the front row and one in the second row.
