Daimler Truck has presented the company’s “Green Mover Award” for the first time on April 24th, 2024. The internal environmental prize honors outstanding projects and initiatives in the field of environmental protection and environmental commitment.
Sponsor of the Green Mover Award is Andreas Gorbach, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck and responsible for Truck Technology: “Our contribution to sustainability does not end with our vehicles or CO2-reduction, even though this certainly plays a central role. Our supply chains, production, waste avoidance and many other topics also play an important role. That’s why the Green Mover Award is so important for me and our company. And even if not all projects can win: Every contribution counts and every project makes Daimler Truck bit-by-bit more sustainable – that makes me incredibly proud. Because in the end, there is one winner above all: our environment.”
The Daimler Truck environmental prize was presented in five categories: “Green Products”, “Green Production” and “Green Supply Chain”, as well as in the special categories for “GreenTrainees” and “Green Engagement”.
