As Speed Classic Cape Town gears up for its inaugural edition on 25 and 26 October, a dynamic group of partners is helping drive the city’s newest hillclimb celebration.

Leading the charge on the track is Volvo South Africa. Volvo will provide the event with a premium fleet of safety and support vehicles – from the Volvo XC90 to the fully electric EX30 – including hospitality shuttle services and an official track experience featuring the EX30 on the iconic 1.8km Philip Kgosana Drive. This dynamic showcase will deliver the ultimate race weekend experience, blending innovation, performance, and Volvo’s world-class safety.

While the cars racing up the hill will take centre stage, the Red Bull Formula 1 car will be turning heads off the track on Sunday, 26 October. Red Bull will also fuel the drivers between runs and keep the energy high throughout the weekend with official Red Bull DJ sets.

Adding a touch of style to the weekend, PUMA will ensure every driver looks the part with an exclusive goodie bag for all entrants. Spectators can also get in on the action, with each ticketholder receiving a 20% discount voucher for PUMA’S official online store.

Cape Town’s hottest radio stations, Kfm 94.5 and CapeTalk, are turning up the volume ahead of race weekend with exclusive interviews, competitions, and all the latest updates from Speed Classic Cape Town. There’s no better way to catch the pre-race buzz and get your radio fix in the Mother City.

As an official partner, Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages (CCPB) is proud to play a role in keeping the drivers and fans refreshed during the event.

Octotel and Clear Access will be connecting the event and supporting the live streaming.

Speed Classic Cape Town is also made possible through the invaluable support of the City of Cape Town, which has backed the event from its earliest stages.

“Partnerships are at the heart of bringing an event like Speed Classic Cape Town to life,” says Speed Classic Cape Town Event Director Garth Mackintosh. “Our sponsors share our vision of creating a world-class motorsport celebration for Cape Town that blends speed, style, and community energy. Their support helps us elevate every aspect of the experience, both on and off the track.”
