Citroën South Africa has officially introduced the Model Year 2026 (MY26) Citroën C3 and Aircross, bringing meaningful upgrades in technology, comfort, and everyday convenience to two of the brand’s fastest-growing nameplates in the local market. The updates strengthen Citroën’s position in South Africa’s highly competitive B-segment, where demand for well-equipped, value-driven vehicles continues to grow.

Both models build on their reputation for bold French design, generous space, and ride comfort, now enhanced with features typically found in higher vehicle segments.

Smarter Features Now Standard Across the MY26 Range

Across the MY26 range, Citroën has added features designed to make a real difference to everyday driving:

  • Keyless Entry with ProxiSense™ & Push-Button Start for added convenience and a more premium ownership experience
  • Cruise Control with Speed Limiter to make long-distance travel more relaxed and efficient
  • Electrochromic (Auto-Dimming) Interior Rear View Mirror to reduce glare during night driving

These upgrades further enhance Citroën’s reputation for delivering simply more in the value-conscious compact car and SUV segments.

Citroën C3 MY26 – WOW Built-in

The refreshed Citroën C3 continues to appeal to young professionals and first-time car buyers looking for a combination of practical design and modern technology at an accessible price point.

Key highlights of the MY26 C3 range include:

  • 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engine options, including a Turbo variant with 6-speed automatic transmission
  • 10-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™
  • SUV-inspired styling details such as wheel arch cladding, roof rails, and skid plates
  • Six airbags and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) for enhanced safety

The C3 continues to deliver a distinctive blend of urban agility, visual personality and everyday usability that sets it apart in the B-hatch segment.

Citroën Aircross MY26 – Versatility for Growing Families

The Citroën Aircross receives similar feature upgrades, maintaining its practical, spacious character as a compact SUV — now with an updated cabin design and modern interior features.

For MY26, the Aircross features an updated instrument panel with a floating digital instrument cluster and refreshed dashboard design, providing a more contemporary interior layout.

Additional MY26 Aircross highlights include:

  • Choice of naturally aspirated and turbocharged 1.2-litre engines, with the turbo paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission
  • Available 7-seat configuration with individually removable third-row seat, providing flexibility for passengers and cargo
  • Rear air vents and additional rear charging ports for passenger comfort
  • High ground clearance and SUV design cues suitable for urban and weekend driving
  • Citroën’s Advanced Comfort® principles for everyday family use

The Aircross continues to combine Citroën Advanced Comfort® principles with practical interior and seating arrangements for families and active lifestyles.

Safety and Peace of Mind

The Aircross and C3 MY26 models are built on platforms that have achieved 5-star and 4-star Bharat NCAP safety ratings in India, respectively, providing recognised occupant protection and structural safety. Standard features across the range include six airbags, ISOFIX child-seat anchors, and an electronic stability system*, giving both models safety credentials in their segments.

Available Now in South Africa

The MY26 Citroën C3 and Aircross are now available at Citroën dealerships nationwide, with service plans and warranty packages included as standard.
