DigiCars Group has launched its latest Cadet Programme, welcoming 17 young individuals into the business as part of a focused commitment to youth development, employment creation, and long-term skills growth within the automotive sector.

The programme marks an important milestone for the Group as it continues to expand its footprint and strengthen its internal talent pipeline. More than a recruitment initiative, the Cadet Programme has been designed to create meaningful career pathways for young people by giving them practical, real-world exposure across the business.

Over the next year, the cadets will be immersed across DigiCars Group’s dealership environment, gaining experience in key areas including sales, marketing, customer experience, service, stock management, and finance. The objective is to provide a strong foundation for future careers while exposing young talent to the pace, discipline, and opportunity that exists within a high-performance automotive group.

For Ayesha Patel, Chief Growth Officer of DigiCars Group, the launch of this year’s programme is deeply personal and closely aligned with the Group’s broader growth strategy.

“This programme is about much more than filling positions. It is about creating opportunity, building confidence, and giving young people the platform to craft their own future,” says Patel. “I have personally been involved in the learning and development journey with this group, and what has stood out most is their energy, ambition, and willingness to learn. When young people are placed in the right environment, with the right support and expectations, they are capable of incredible growth.”

Patel has played a key role in ensuring the successful rollout of the Cadet Programme, with a strong focus on creating an environment where ideas are shared, confidence is built, and individuals are encouraged to grow into their full potential.

“At the DigiCars Group, we believe learning and development must be embedded into the culture of the business. As we grow, we have a responsibility to invest in people at every level and to create pathways that allow talent to rise through the organisation,” she adds.

The Group has already seen the impact of its people-first approach, with several individuals who have come through its development structures going on to take up leadership roles within the business or build successful careers across different industries which remains one of the strongest measures of success.

As the Group continues to expand across brands, dealerships, and new areas of mobility, its focus remains firmly on building high-performance teams, fostering an integrative culture, and developing the next generation of automotive professionals.

“This is only the beginning,” says Patel. “Our goal is to build people who can help shape the future of our business and the industry. If we invest properly in talent today, we build stronger leaders for tomorrow.”
