After leading and contributing towards a highly impressive 12 000 vehicle sales at Hyundai Automotive South Africa over a 16-year career, Siya Qamba has been rewarded with a Senior Executive role, effective January 2026.

Announcing Qamba’s appointment as the new Regional Manager: Gauteng East Region, Stanley Anderson: CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa said this promotion stands as a powerful reminder that exceptional results, matched with commitment and belief, can drive one’s career to extraordinary levels.

“Siya’s story is one of consistency, hard work and unparalleled commitment to the Hyundai brand in South Africa,” said Anderson.  “His promotion is well-deserved and serves as inspiration to many within our organisation who aspire to grow their careers through dedication and performance.  From the entire Hyundai family, we congratulate him!”

Prior to this appointment, Qamba served as Dealer Principal at Hyundai Boksburg.  Reflecting on his new role where he now manages eight dealerships, comprising a total of 349 employees, he is under no illusion of the task ahead.

“I am grateful to the leaders and mentors who trusted, challenged and allowed me the space to grow.  Selling is in my DNA and nothing gives me greater satisfaction than seeing a customer leave our dealership happy, knowing I have delivered on the Hyundai promise.  This new role is both an honour and a responsibility which I fully embrace with dedication.”

Qamba’s journey with Hyundai Automotive South Africa began in 2006 as a Sales Executive at Hyundai East Rand.  His commitment, exceptional performance and leadership qualities have seen him rise steadily through the ranks.  In 2010, he was appointed Branch Manager at Hyundai Bruma and later advanced to Dealer Principal for both Hyundai Heidelberg and Kia Heidelberg dealerships.

In 2017, he took on the role of Dealer Principal at Hyundai Bedfordview dealership, leading it with distinction for over six years and delivering outstanding operational and business results.  From 2023, he served as Dealer Principal at Hyundai Boksburg, further strengthening his regional expertise and leadership capabilities.

Qamba’s journey reflects Hyundai Automotive South Africa’s philosophy of developing and advancing leaders who understand the business from the ground up.
