Isuzu Motors South Africa (IMSAf) is proud to announce that it has been recognised as a winner in three categories at the prestigious naamsa accelerator awards this past Friday. This achievement underscores IMSAf’s commitment to excellence and leadership within the automotive industry.

IMSAf was recognised as the overall winner in the New vehicle sales category in both the Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle of the year awards, celebrating the success of both the ISUZU N-Series and F-Series Trucks. The company was also recognised in the B-BBEE Certificate category for achieving B-BBEE Level 1 rating among Original Equipment Manufacturers’ (OEMs), marking its sixth consecutive year of certification.

“We are honoured to receive this recognition for both New Vehicle Sales and our B-BBEE Level 1 achievement,” said Billy Tom, President of Isuzu Motors South Africa. “Being recognised across three categories is a testament to the dedication of our entire team and reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional products, services, and experiences to our customers.”

The company’s continued success in the Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle of the year categories underscores IMSAf’s unwavering commitment to meeting the diverse needs of its customers and maintaining its leadership in South Africa’s commercial vehicle market, having achieved Number 1 position in the medium and heavy commercial segment for 12 consecutive years.

“As we celebrate this success, we also honour our customers, whose partnership has been instrumental in achieving these milestones,” adds Tom. “Their unwavering support reinforces our commitment to leading the way in South Africa’s commercial vehicle market.”

IMSAf continued attainment of a B-BBEE Level 1 rating highlights the company’s dedication to driving inclusive economic development and transformation across its value chain. “At IMSAf, transformation is not a tick box exercise, but a business imperative that ensures the sustainability of our operations and enables us to contribute meaningfully to the broader economic transformation of the country,” said Tom.

IMSAf’s string of wins at the 2025 naamsa accelerate awards reflects its unwavering dedication to building world-class vehicles, creating a better life with better transport for a better world and driving inclusive economic growth.
