With 1 673 vehicles sold in February alone, Jetour has maintained its position as one of the top 15 automotive sellers in the country for the fourth month in a row, ranking 11th overall last month. February also saw South Africa’s automotive market reach its highest sales level in 13 years.

Since launching in South Africa in September 2024, the brand has sold 12 291 units in total (excluding exports). These cumulative sales figures include initial sales of the 5-door Jetour Dashing and 7-door Jetour X70 Plus models, as well as the more recent sales of the T‑Series, which was launched in October last year.

February’s local sales included 619 units of the Jetour T2, among strong performances from the rest of the range. The increasingly popular T2 has also earned a spot as a finalist in the upcoming Car of the Year Awards.

Jetour’s strong growth in South Africa reflects the brand’s impressive performance in many other markets across the globe. In 2025 alone, the brand sold over 622 000 vehicles worldwide, setting a new annual sales record, with over 2.15 million units sold since the brand first launched in 2018. Jetour has also expanded into over 100 markets, with more than 2 000 sales and service outlets, including over 50 in South Africa. Jetour is also expanding its presence into Southern Africa, with operations now in Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Jetour’s local and global success to date has been attributed to its diverse and appealing lineup, designed to meet a range of customer needs and preferences, combined with competitive pricing, premium features, modern designs and advanced technology.

“Since first launching locally in 2024, our focus has been on providing models that offer quality, versatility and world-class technology,” says Nic Campbell, Vice President of Jetour South Africa.  “It is very rewarding to see our efforts resonate with our growing customer base across the country, and we remain intent on listening to our customers and continuing to deliver the products and support they need as we expand our offerings and representation across the region”.

Jetour’s current local lineup includes the Dashing from R439 900, the X70 Plus from R454 900, the T1 from R514 900, and the T2 from R569 900, with mid-range and top-spec variants available across the range.

Continuing into 2026, Jetour will expand its growth in the region through upgrades to existing models, the introduction of new vehicles, expansion beyond conventional petrol powertrains, broader dealer networks, and ongoing investment in enhancing the customer experience.
