The 2025 Chery International User Summit took place in grand fashion from October 17 to 21 in Wuhu, Anhui. As Chery Group’s all-new premium new energy brand, Lepas captivated global audiences with a series of immersive, interactive and technology-driven experiences that brought its brand philosophy, product excellence and innovation to life.
As Lepas continues its global expansion, the brand will launch in South Africa in early 2026, introducing a new range of intelligent, design-led premium new energy vehicles to local customers.
In the presence of international media, distributor representatives and distinguished guests, Lepas showcased its positioning as the Preferred Brand for Elegant Mobility.
Long-Distance Testing and Interactive Fun: A Multi-Dimensional Experience of Lepas Product Strength
During the summit, two experiential programmes, the Global Journey of Elegant Driving (China Stop) and the Fun Test Drive, gave guests the opportunity to experience the Lepas L8 through both long-distance testing and scenario-based driving activities.
In the Global Journey of Elegant Driving, participants drove the Lepas L8 from Shanghai through Suzhou, Moganshan and Xuancheng to Wuhu, covering more than 900 kilometres. Across diverse driving conditions, including city roads, expressways and winding mountain passes, guests experienced the L8’s range, intelligent driving features, exceptional comfort and adaptability in different environments.
The Fun Test Drive added excitement to the experience with simulated acceleration and slalom challenges that highlighted the L8’s precise handling and responsive power. Guests also experienced the convenience of Automatic Parking Assist (APA) and Remote Parking Assist (RPA).
Using the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) external power function, the L8 powered coffee machines and grills on-site, turning energy into everyday enjoyment. The storage treasure hunt challenge showcased the thoughtful design of the L8’s interior storage spaces, engaging participants in fun activities that reflected Lepas’s vision of Elegant Technology for Daily Life.
The Elegant Way of Lepas Debuts: World’s First Lepas Elegant Lifestyle House Defines “Elegance”
A highlight of the summit was the opening of the world’s first Lepas Elegant Lifestyle House, a model space that brings the brand’s Leopard Beauty Aesthetics and vision of elegant living to life.
Guided by the concept of “A Car, A Neighbourhood, A Lifestyle”, the Lifestyle House recreated a miniature community where the Lepas L8, L6 and L4 were seamlessly integrated into three immersive scenes:
- Lepas Space, showcasing Leopard Beauty Aesthetics
- Memory Lane, a creative space celebrating inspiration
- Time Café, designed for moments of relaxation and connection
Here, the car is reimagined as more than transportation. It becomes a reflection of lifestyle, culture and refined taste. The experience attracted numerous celebrities and public figures, including Ban Ki-moon, 8th Secretary-General of the United Nations; YBhg. Mr Ng Kai Seng, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Malaysia in China; Jeryl Lee, Malaysian singer; and Sanly Liu, Miss Universe Indonesia 2025.
Following this, the Lepas Brand Showcase and Elegant Technology Launch officially introduced the brand’s technological foundation, Lepas Elegant Technology, which supports the philosophy of Elegant Driving.
The launch detailed the brand’s DNA, core values and strategic roadmap. It unveiled the full meaning of Elegant Technology and announced the Global Dealer Signing Ceremony and the Global Elegant Lifestyle Partner Programme.
As a global declaration of Lepas Elegant Technology, the event strengthened international understanding of the brand’s philosophy, defined the symbol of elegant mobility and marked the beginning of Lepas’s global commercial and user ecosystem.
Safety and Quality Verification: Building a Foundation of Confidence
For any automotive brand, safety is the foundation of quality and the cornerstone of customer trust. During the summit, Lepas hosted its first open safety test, where the Lepas L8 underwent three rigorous trials: the Bottom Scraping Test, the Fording Obstacle Test and the Rollover Test, all confirming its five-star safety standards.
This transparent demonstration proved the L8’s exceptional structural integrity and reliability, reinforcing Lepas’s belief that true elegance is built on uncompromising safety.
Technology Meets Elegance: Setting a New Benchmark for the New Energy Era
From product experience to brand presentation, and from safety testing to ecosystem co-creation, Lepas seamlessly blended technology and elegance throughout the 2025 Chery International User Summit.
