Stellantis South Africa will showcase their commercial vehicles offering at the leading construction & infrastructure industry forum, Big 5 Construct South Africa.

The global automaker is positioning its commercial range, Stellantis Pro One, as a practical, cost-efficient mobility solutions for the businesses building South Africa’s future. Stellantis Pro One business unit sold approximately 1.65 million units worldwide in 2025 and ranks second in commercial vehicles segment within the Middle East and Africa region.

Running from 9 to 11 June at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, Big 5 Construct South Africa brings together players from across the value chain including contractors, developers, engineers, architects and suppliers from across the sector. The showcase of Pro One commercial vehicles follows the recent local launch of the PEUGEOT Partner, the latest addition to a line-up engineered to keep business operations moving.

“Construction runs on movement. So, materials, tools, crews and equipment all have to get to where they are needed on time, and at a cost that works. That makes the vehicle a working tool, not simply transport,” said Moeketsi Mapogo, Stellantis Brand Head: Pro One LCV.

“We want to show the sector that Stellantis Pro One has a fit-for-purpose answer for almost every job on site, from the first delivery to the final handover at Big 5 Construct.”

Stellantis Pro One will showcase a range of commercial vehicle solutions at Big 5 Construct South Africa, including:

  • The PEUGEOT Partner in long and short-wheelbase derivatives
  • The PEUGEOT Landtrek Single Cab and Double Cab
  • The Citroën Hola Panelvan
  • The FIAT TRIS

A highlight of the display is the PEUGEOT Partner, a van that offers a load volume of up to 4.4 m³, a payload of up to 1 000 kg and claimed fuel consumption of 5.1 L/100 km. Dual sliding side doors and 180-degree rear doors help speed up loading in tight spaces. Additionally, a 10-inch digital cluster, 10-inch touchscreen, and a comprehensive suite of safety and driver-assistance systems support operators through a long working day.

Mapogo adds, “The new Partner is a good example of how low fuel consumption, practical load space and the manoeuvrability to work in tight, busy environments, backed by aftersales support, can help keep businesses moving.”

A global strategy, built for professional customers

The vehicles on display are the local expansion of a much larger Stellantis Pro One strategy.  Stellantis recently announced as part of it’s FaSTLAne2030 strategic plan, two new multi-energy van platforms built on the STLA Brain architecture, and a shift from traditional vehicle supply to a broader ecosystem of services for professional customers.

“What sits behind these vehicles matters just as much as the vehicles themselves. That’s why Stellantis Pro One is moving from being a vehicle supplier to a full business partner, and South Africa is part of that plan,” said Mapogo. “For a construction customer, that means more support, better uptime and a clear commitment to this market for the long term.”

“South Africa and the wider Sub-Saharan region are strategic growth markets for us. Customers can expect a steady expansion of our range, built around the same promise of practical mobility that helps businesses do more with less,” concludes Mapogo.
