First introduced into the South African market in September 2021, the Renault KIGER has enjoyed success from the outset, with over 28 000 units sold to date.

Renowned for its stylish design, spaciousness, comprehensive equipment, safety  credentials, and strong value-for-money proposition, the New Renault KIGER Naturally Aspirated model has now evolved with notable design and feature enhancements , offering a refreshed exterior and interior design, advanced technological enhancements, and improved safety features, adding to its innate appeal.

  • Renewed Exterior Design: With its robust design, the New Renault KIGER NA displays a dynamic modernity, revealing its striking front grille, all-new bonnet, redesigned front and rear bumpers, LED head lamps, C-shaped LED tail lamps, fog lamps, along with 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and skid plates.

The New Kiger NA model is built upon the strong legacy of the original Kiger. With significant enhancements, this sub-four metre SUV offers a compelling combination of expressive design, intelligent engineering, impressive fuel efficiency, and exceptional value.

Renewed Exterior Design

The Kiger NA presents a bolder design shaped by dynamic athletic lines and is now available in two new trim levels:  Evolution (MT) and Techno (MT & AMT).

The New Renault Kiger Is testimony to Renault’s human-centric design. It features a robust front fascia with Renault’s new brand identity, a squared-off stance, extended front and rear skid graphics that reinforce its SUV appeal, and functional roof bars with a load capacity of 50kg.

Paired with a reflective black grille, metallic grey skid plate, sporty alloy wheels, distinctive graphic elements, and tri-octa LED head lights, the New Kiger NA delivers a confident and dynamic presence, with a notable ground clearance of 205mm.

Premium Interior and Augmented Technology

The Next-Generation Kiger prioritizes a comfortable driving experience backed by ventilated front seats and light leatherette seat upholstery. The refined cabin offers enhanced airflow that keeps the cabin cooler with front and rear AC vents, as well as improved ride quietness for driver and passenger comfort. 

The Kiger offers a spacious cabin layout with rear knee room providing up to 222mm of comfort, interior storage space of up to 29L, increased front couple distance of 710mm as well as substantial boot space of 405L. A rear centre armrest with cupholders is designed to enhance passenger comfort and add a level of convenience.

The Renault Kiger NA model now features a multi-view HD camera system, offering drivers effortless manoeuvring with clear, real-time visibility from multiple angles. Perfect for tight city spaces and challenging parking conditions, it allows drivers to switch views effortlessly, making every move safer and more convenient. Added features such as automatic head lamps and rain-sensing wipers ensure a stress-free driving experience. 

An 8” floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay that integrates seamlessly with smartphones. The New Kiger NA boasts a 3D Arkamys surround sound with 6 speakers offering an immersive audio experience. Added practical touches, including a cooled lower glove box, multiple USB charging points, easy-to-view driving information on a sleek, contemporary TFT cluster dashboard and a ‘Belongings Take Away’ alert, make daily use smarter and more convenient.

For added ease, the doors unlock automatically as you approach with the hands-free card. The vehicle starts easily without a key by pressing the start button.

Driving Dynamics

The New Kiger model is available with a refined naturally aspirated engine, delivering 52kW of power and 96Nm of torque.

The New Naturally Aspirated Kiger offers a range of versatile transmission options to suit every driving style — the standard 5-speed manual for those who love control, and the convenient Easy-R AMT for effortless city commutes.

This compact SUV now has significantly improved noise harshness, and vibration, making for a better driving experience.

Safety First- Advanced Protection as Standard

Safety remains central to Renault’s DNA, and the New Kiger NA elevates occupant protection to a new standard in the compact SUV segment. The Kiger model range now offers 15+ standard safety features across all variants.

These also include Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), 3-point seat belts for every seat, and Isofix child seat anchorage. Built on the robust CMFA+ platform, the Kiger’s body structure is engineered for optimal impact protection. Engineering features such as energy-absorbing structures provide pedestrian protection, and features like multi-view camera visibility adds layers of proactive safety, ensuring peace of mind for both drivers and passengers.

Active safety features include reverse parking sensors, a reverse camera, ABS, EBD with EBA, and an ultra-convenient tyre pressure monitoring system with a handy alert.

Range Details

The Naturally Aspirated Kiger model is available in four attractive colour palettes, including a new addition – Grey, alongside existing options: Blue, White, and Silver.

The KIGER model range offers complete peace of mind with a standard 5-year/ 150 000km mechanical warranty and a 2-year/ 30 000km service plan.
