The 2025 SA Auto Week witnessed a spectacular debut that turned heads and stole hearts: the 2025 Hyundai SANTA FE marking its first-ever appearance at South Africa’s grand automotive gathering, in Gqeberha, 1-3 October 2025.
As our first hybrid vehicle to be launched in South Africa in June this year, this seven-seater SUV combines a 1.6-litre turbopetrol engine with an electric motor and comes with a seven-year or 200,000km warranty. As a hybrid, the Hyundai SANTA FE glides quietly on the road proving that sometimes silence truly speaks volumes.

The Hyundai SANFA FE was named the Supreme Winner at the 2025 Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY) awards, receiving the title “World’s Best Car for 2025” from a panel of 82 female automotive journalists from 55 countries. The large SUV was praised for its futuristic and distinctive design, versatile seating, advanced hybrid powertrain and overall driving experience.
