Mazda Southern Africa Launches “The Feeling Will Find You” – A New Chapter in Driver-Centric Storytelling

Mazda Southern Africa has launched a fresh brand expression titled “The Feeling Will Find You”, reaffirming its commitment to delivering more than performance, instead offering an experience that connects deeply with the driver.

The campaign evolves Mazda’s emotional storytelling into a broader framework. The feeling of driving a Mazda – intuitive, balanced, responsive – now finds new expression through a refined visual language and an expanded emotional canvas.

“‘The Feeling Will Find You’ isn’t about changing direction,” says Deolinda Da Costa, Head of Marketing at Mazda Southern Africa. “We’re still focused on the driver, still in the car. But now we’re spotlighting how a Mazda makes you feel, even in the simplest moments. That feeling is what sets us apart, and it’s time we own it more boldly.”

Visually, the campaign brings this emotion to life through metaphor – bubbles symbolising freedom, petals signifying release, and origami cranes reflecting transformation. These moments aren’t real; they’re emotional truths made visible, mirroring what Mazda drivers say they feel behind the wheel. And at the heart of it all lies wonderrrr: there is wonder to be found in each and every moment, no matter how mundane it may seem. Even on your daily commute, the feeling will find you.

Each model in the Mazda lineup is designed to deliver this experience, from the dynamic performance of the Mazda3 and the confident presence of the CX-5, the CX-30 to the CX-60, which brings next-level refinement and a new approach to driver engagement. The campaign underscores how each Mazda is crafted around Jinba-Ittai, the principle of oneness between car and driver, a philosophy that continues to guide Mazda’s design and engineering ethos.

More than a brand narrative, the campaign weaves this emotional positioning into everyday driving moments: morning commutes, traffic jams, rainy days, scenic detours. Through poetic voice-overs and intimate sound design, the ads show that even the most routine drives in a Mazda can become unexpectedly meaningful.

Mazda continues to focus on human-centric design and driving dynamics that go beyond performance- aiming to create vehicles that respond not just to the road, but to the driver.

“The Feeling Will Find You” is a statement of intent: to offer more than a car – to provide a feeling. One that arrives the moment you get in. One that stays with you, long after the drive ends.
