Nissan unveiled the all-new Nissan Tekton at its world premiere in India, marking an important milestone in the company’s transformation journey and reinforcing India’s growing role in Nissan’s future.

The launch reflects the progress being made through Re:Nissan and demonstrates how Nissan’s vision is becoming a reality through a stronger portfolio, strategic partnerships and focused market growth.

Developed and manufactured in India, in partnership with Renault, for domestic and export markets, the all-new Tekton highlights India’s importance as both a growth market and strategic export hub. The model will be exported to 50 global markets across the Middle East and Africa, further strengthening India’s role in Nissan’s global manufacturing and product strategy.

Speaking at the world premiere, Guillaume Cartier, Chief Performance Officer, Nissan, said: “We are building a stronger and more competitive Nissan in India. As we continue to strengthen our SUV-led portfolio and sharpen our market focus, the world premiere of the all-new Nissan Tekton reflects our ambition to leverage strategic partnerships to expand our market coverage. Tekton is a clear expression of how Nissan is transforming with purpose – towards a more competitive, diverse portfolio.”

How Does Tekton Support Nissan’s Growth Strategy?

The all-new Tekton reflects the company’s ambition to expand market coverage through strategic partnerships, strengthen its SUV portfolio and accelerate growth in key markets. As part of Nissan’s resurgence in India, Tekton supports a broader strategy focused on portfolio expansion, network growth and strengthening the brand’s presence in the market.

India is powering Nissan’s growth across markets and regions. The all-new Tekton is a strong example of a global product engineered and manufactured in India, with international customers in mind. It will be exported to markets across the AMIEO region and will allow us to expand our offering across Africa and the Middle East.”

What Makes Nissan Tekton Different?

Designed for one of the world’s most competitive SUV segments, Tekton combines bold Patrol-inspired styling, advanced technology and premium comfort in a package tailored to evolving customer expectations. Developed with a customer-first philosophy, it delivers a strong SUV presence, intuitive connectivity, advanced safety technologies and everyday practicality.

The all-new Tekton features Google-powered connectivity, advanced driver assistance technologies and a spacious, premium cabin designed to make every journey more comfortable, effortless and enjoyable.

Designed Around What Customers Value Most

Customer insight played a central role in the development of Tekton. Every aspect of the vehicle, from its design and technology to its comfort and practicality, was shaped around real-world needs, expectations and what customers value most from a modern SUV.

Built on insights gathered from thousands of SUV customers across India, the Middle East and Africa, Tekton has been developed to meet evolving customer expectations for design, technology, comfort and value, while carrying forward 75 years of Nissan SUV heritage.

Built in India for India and Beyond

Developed in partnership with Renault and manufactured at its plant in Chennai, the vehicle has been designed for Indian customers while delivering the quality, capability and competitiveness required for global markets. The model reinforces India’s dual importance to Nissan as both a major domestic growth market and a strategic export hub, supporting the company’s long-term ambitions across the Middle East and Africa.

The all-new Tekton is more than a new vehicle. It is a symbol of Nissan’s momentum in India, the strength of its global partnership strategy and the company’s commitment to delivering products that create value for customers while supporting long-term growth across global markets.
