GWM South Africa has unveiled the new P300 SX range, a purposeful addition that completes the P300 portfolio and strengthens the brand’s position in the commercial vehicle segment. The facelifted SX model is offered in both Double Cab and Single Cab formats and replaces the outgoing P-Series SX models and brings private and fleet buyers a value-packed workhorse with modern design, efficiency and flair.

The launch of the SX comes at a time when businesses are under pressure to balance operating costs with the need for reliable, hardworking fleets. “The P300 SX was built to take the pressure off fleet managers,” says Floyd Ramabulana, Head of Marketing at GWM South Africa. “It delivers all the core strengths that businesses need: durability, load capability and aftersales support without compromising on comfort or versatility.”

Under the hood, the P300 SX is driven by a 2.0l Turbo Diesel engine that’s been engineered for dependable output across demanding cycles. The powertrain produces 120kW & a maximum of 400 Nm of torque when paired with the 6-speed manual or 8 speed automatic transmission setup, it strikes a balance between everyday usability and the strength required to carry heavy loads.

With a maximum towing capacity of 2250 kg, the SX is designed for sectors like logistics, construction, agriculture and contracting, providing both private and business owners confidence that their vehicles can keep up with long hours and tough schedules.

Engineered for Versatility

The P300 SX comes equipped with a host of premium features designed for both comfort and safety. It rides on stylish 17″ alloy wheel rims that enhance its road presence, while front and rear fog lamps ensure optimal visibility in challenging weather conditions. Inside, the manual air conditioner provides effective climate control, complemented by Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free communication and audio streaming. Safety is prioritized with a Traction Control System (TCS), dual front and side airbags, and rear parking sensors that assist in maneuvering. Additionally, cruise control offers a more relaxed driving experience on long journeys.
